I know this post is usually food centric. However, we've been working on a fence around our house lately. Once the fence is in, I'll be able to work on landscaping. Which relates to food because I can't plant winter greens or herbs (in the ground) until I can landscape my yard.

Here's a picture of the work in progress. I'll post more as it gets finished. You can't actually see my house-sorry about that. But, you can see the lovely scallops created by the jigsaw on the front of the fence. The side is scalloped now too but I don't have a picture of it.

Oooh la la Well done! I had no idea your side yard was so big! Can't wait to see the landscaping. Are you using the plan your girlfriend drew up? e

The yard is still tiny but the fence makes it feel bigger by defining the boundaries. I'm loosely using the plan that my friend drew up for me. But there will have to be some changes. We recently realized we have to put in a french drain (tube underground to drain away water) and that there are power lines where some trees are supposed to go. So, a few changes but not a ton. It's going to take a while to get there though. We still have to put up gates, paint the fence and bring in 3 truckloads of mulch. But hey!-it's progress of some kind.
